How Our Process Works

After an initial virtual consultation with our hair loss specialists, your information will be shared with a Hair Science Institute Medical Professional in your geographic region. Our virtual specialists will be your liaison and facilitate the first appointment in office, where the patient meets the entire care team, from the front desk staff to the physician who will perform any testing or procedures. For patients who qualify for hair restoration, this may be the final opportunity to ask questions prior to scheduling surgery, so it is important to communicate expectations to the care team and for your physician to provide before and after images to help provide a picture of the future with healthy hair as well as share any pertinent information.

The success of the hair restoration procedure will largely be determined by the trust and credibility between the patient and the care team. For some patients, hair restoration may be the final option after following other treatment methods. The care team will establish realistic goals and suggest a unique treatment protocol to your hair loss needs, that may include alternative hair restorative options from supplements and medication to growth factors, exosomes, and light therapy.

She is Double Board Certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. She is Founding Director of Dermatopathology at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She pioneered and developed Generational Dermatology™ which is a detailed system of age management and a National CME meeting.
